Shalsheles

Shalsheles was introduced to the world of jewish music in 1999. The group consists of the composer Yitzchok Rosenthal, Baruch Aryeh, Chaim Block, and Simcha Sussman. Until this time the whole concept of the "group" seemed to be a thing of the past. Although Jewish Music's popular groups of the past continued to shine, the newer acts were primarily solo ones.
Shalsheles' goal was to reintroduce the concept of a group, while remaining connected to the soul of Jewish Music's past via a "chain," hence the name Shalsheles - meaning a chain or link within a Dynasty, the Dynasty being Jewish Music.
To date, Shalsheles has produced four albums, a single entitled Dreaming, and was heavily involved in a third album entitled Rozoh D'Shabbos (the songs were composed by Yitzchok Rosenthal). Each of their albums is considered to be one of the top selling albums of all time, in jewish music. Recently they introduced the extremely popular children’s group named Shalsheles Junior , which consists of four children and follows the same formula as the adult group. Shalsheles has performed in select concerts throughout the world.
The members of the group, look upon Shalsheles as a hobby, one in which they hope to positively influence Jewish Music.
Yaakov Chesed

Yaakov Chesed is quickly becoming the hottest new Jewish band in the world. Their music combines rock riffs, with funky bass lines, smooth jazz beats, and inspirational Hebrew and English lyrics to make an original, eclectic sound.
The name of the group comes from a line said in the daily prayer of "oova litzeyon", which says "Teetain emet li'yaakov, chesed li'avraham." As "Yaakov Chesed" the band wishes to bring people into their tent of music just as our father Avraham did with his guests, and we want to do that with complete Chesed. Yaakov Avinu was known for Emes (truth); "Yaakov Chesed" wants their music to shine through with truth - the truth of the Torah that was given to us at Har Sinai.
After winning both Battle of the Bands at Yeshiva University and Lander College, Yaakov Chesed quickly became a band of noted popularity among Jewish teenagers, and young collegiates. They have performed at Princeton University, Stern College, HAFTR, The Frisch School, Yeshiva University, Queens College, and the BBJ in Savannah, Georgia where they have a very large following. They also have upcoming shows in Washington D.C., Central Park, MTA, and are headlining NCSY's annual Roots Fest.
Yaakov Chesed is comprised of:
Jake Polansky (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar)
Michael Shapiro (Lead Guitar)
Dovi Salomon (Bass)
Michael "Mosky Moskowitz (Drums)
Aryeh Kunstler- Vocals/Bass Guitar
